Description
The Casablanca Cathedral of the Sacred Heart has not been used as a place of worship since 1965 but remains an interesting building from an architectural point of view.
The French architect Paul Tournon, who also designed several churches in France, represents an interesting experiment in the decorative use of cast concrete.
Left somewhat abandoned, it has been undergoing work for several years and is expected to be transformed into a museum and a cultural venue for performances so you won't be able to get inside.
