Stunning Beaches around Da Nang

db1

The clean seas and sands of Da Nang’s greatest beaches are well-known. The more well-known ones, such as My Khe and Non Nuoc, are within walking distance of the city center. They’re less than 10 minutes away by car and are frequently busy with locals on weekends and holidays. There are also many local eateries that serve fresh seafood and Da Nang specialties at reasonable costs. Rentable lounges and beach chairs are available.

Son Tra Peninsula is the spot to go if you want to spend your vacation in peace. Luxury resorts with fine-dining restaurants line the island’s main beaches. Da Nang’s weather is bright all year, making it ideal for activities like surfing, kayaking, and beach volleyball.

Non Nuoc Beach

Non Nuoc Beach is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Featuring soft sands, a gentle slope, clean waters and mild waves, there are plenty of things to see and do here. Popular activities include sunbathing, jet-skiing, surfing, and enjoying local seafood dishes. A 20-minute drive from Da Nang City, Non Nuoc Beach takes up 5 km of Hoa Hai Ward’s coastline, ending at the foot of the Marble Mountains. You can also explore ancient pagodas, sacred caves, and handicraft villages at the mountain ranges before or after your day at the beach.

Bac My An Beach

Bac My An Beach is home to a number of 5-star beach resorts and hotels in Da Nang. It stretches for 4 kilometres and can accommodate over 5,000 beachgoers at any given moment. Guests can sunbathe and participate in outdoor activities in their own private area at the resorts. If you are not staying at a luxury resort during your vacation, you can find public beach locations. Around Bac My An Beach, there are various mid-range hotels as well as local restaurants selling fresh seafood at cheap costs. Kayaking, diving, and windsurfing are among the most popular tourist activities here.

My Khe Beach

My Khe Beach, about 6 kilometres east of Da Nang, is a 32-mile expanse of white sand. It is considered to be one of Vietnam’s most attractive beaches, having been named by American forces who visited during the Vietnam War. My Khe Beach is a popular area for sunbathing, fishing, snorkelling, jet-skiing, and surfing, and is home to several high-end resorts and seafood restaurants. World Heritage Sites such as Hoi An Ancient Town, Hue Imperial City, and Phong Nha Caves, all of which are easily accessible by taxi or bus, are well worth visiting.

Son Tra Peninsula

Some of Da Nang’s most secret beaches, including Bai Bac, Tien Sa, and Con Beach, can be found on the Son Tra Peninsula. It’s a natural area that’s 12 kilometres north of Da Nang and home to the uncommon, red-shanked doucs. Make a point of seeing Linh Ung Pagoda while you’re here. The magnificent pagoda is noted for its 67-meter-tall white statue of the Goddess of Mercy, which is located atop Son Tra (Monkey) Mountain. Ban Co Peak, an observation point on the Son Tra Peninsula, is also worth seeing. Keep an eye out for Confucius, one of China’s most famous philosophers, who is depicted in bronze.

Lang Co Beach

Between Truong Son Mountain and the southern end of Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach stretches for 10 kilometres. It’s one of Da Nang’s best-kept secrets, as it’s largely frequented by locals and travellers tackling the convoluted roads of Hai Van Pass. You can unwind for the day while taking in the spectacular views of the mountain ranges. Lang Co Beach is 30 kilometres west of Bach Ma National Park. Hiking through the forest trails, spotting unusual wildlife, and even rappelling from the top of Rhododendron Falls are all options for nature lovers.

Nam O Beach

Nam O Beach is 17 km northwest of Da Nang City. It offers environmental boat rides to minority villages of Hoa Bac and Hoa Bang. The best time to visit Nam O Beach is from April to August. Waters are calm and clear enough for snorkelling and spotting marine life. If you’re a surfer, weather conditions are ideal between November and February. You can also find local restaurants serving mostly seafood dishes – we highly recommend goi ca, which is cured herring wrapped in rice paper, served with dipping sauce, fresh herbs and vegetables.
